We are seeking a building and construction assessor. This role is flexible to start however we would prefer to start someone part time, 2 days per week and move towards a full time role over a period of 3 months increasing 1 day per month.
We are happy to consider tradies wanting to pivot towards a career change however good communication and computer skills are critical to be successful in this role. The job will involve you to be in the office based in Toowong, Brisbane. However, being on the road is also a large part of the job. It will be a 50/50 balance and travel across the state will be required. The job involves assessing workers skills and knowledge, on the phone reference checking, speaking to employers and going to site to observe and take video of works being conducted. It involves many different skills and tasks to be done on a daily basis.
To be successful we are looking for:
Building and construction knowledge.
Knowledge of how a construction site works.
Understand the culture of the construction industry.
Good computer skills.
Must have a current car licence.
